Apr. 8th, 2006 02:30 amMya, after reading the absolutely wretched joke on her Penguin wrapper:
Me, indignantly:
Dr. Burch, one of the research scientists at DAI:
In other news, somebody in another apartment is snoring and I can hear it, but can't go punch them. This does not seem fair.
Also, some poopy-head to whom I am possibly related beat me to what I was planning on getting my cousin for his wedding, and I really can't afford any of their other interesting stuff. So they're getting a gift card. And if my mom thinks that's declasse, she can suck it (don't tell her I said that, Dad, especially since she probably doesn't think any such thing).
But we had an impromptu dinner party at Carolyn's tonight, after which Steve and Carolyn came over here where Mya was making a pudding (which was delicious) and where we watched Office Space, which I had somehow never actually seen. Good fun. Now that Rivethead song makes a lot more sense. And 433's angry icon. The stapler always made sense, though.
the hedge abides.
That was HORRIBLE. I need another drink.
Me, indignantly:
We would make *excellent* wombats!
