Ok, let's try Crafty Planet today at 4pm. My car will be full, but I encourage carpooling in others, of course. I think we should just try to meet there around 4, yes?

Three Kittens is another option for a yarn excursion. It is the powerhouse of Twin Cities yarns stores, since their size allows for more stock. But it is on the opposite end of town from Crafty Planet, so we should just pick one.

Who all is planning on coming? Would one-thirty work? Shall we meet there, or can some carpooling be arranged? What is your shop preference? TELL ME!

As y'all can tell, work is really busy today...

In other news, my aunt got transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester this morning, but because they can do a cool, non-surgical procedure, instead of because it's so bad that nobody here can help. So that's kind of a load off. Also, my mom's unemployment has come in handy, as she has been able to stay with my aunt and take some of the pressure off of my uncle. He doesn't need any more stress, and definitely needs to feel able to go home and get some rest on occasion.

OK. Now I'm going to go reorganize the whole lab. And study assays with which I am not entirely familiar. And try to determine the serial number of a very large freezer full of samples and radioactive isotopes. It's probably on the back somewhere... So if I show up tomorrow looking like I have a wicked sunburn, please let me know.

Does anyone want to go up to Crafty Planet (or some other store-what-sells-yarn) this weekend? I mention Crafty Planet only because I have never been there, and have heard good things, but I am open to suggestions. I need more babyllamas for my afghan. And nothing else. Do you hear that, hedge? NOTHING ELSE.

Today is going to be a really long day, but there's nobody else here (not even my PI), and I'm really lonely. Maybe I will see evidence of the existance of other people if I go get coffee in Coffman. But then, it's spring break at the U-- people are pretty sparse.

I want a new bike. I am jealous of [livejournal.com profile] paddle2paddle. I don't really know what I want, though, just something more stable and more efficient than the old Ross 3-speed I got in RI last year.
