Oct. 7th, 2005 01:45 amJournal club article? I don't need to read no stinkin' journal club article.
I do need to get up at 6:30 for journal club, though. Guh. I fell asleep during Frankenstein, but now I'm too damn alert to sleep. La la la. Not at all productive, but I can't sleep.
omaha gave me some fantastic news today: not only is my camera probably fixable, they'll fix it for free. That sounds like it's probably what's wrong with mine. Man. That makes me so happy. I really liked that little monster.
In other news, that Audi I'm looking at got hit by a moose. That's why they're only asking $1500 for it. It seems to have been in beautiful condition before the moose, and is now just hella dented. Well, if the mechanics are good, I can drive a dented car. Especially if it's dented by a moose. That's way cooler than butt-dents on the hood of your 1966 maroon Ford Galaxie 500. Well, a little cooler, anyway.
Only downside is, car is in VT. Plus side to that, though, is that VT is hella lovely this time of year. So I'm going to go look at it maybe on Sunday sometime.
Speaking of Sunday, Crystal and Carolyn were drinking tea and talking about when they were going somewhere on Sunday when I joined them.
"Where're y'all goin' on Sunday? What's up?" I enquire, which prompts a funny look and an answer, in unison.
"Uh... Your birthday."
Heh. Oh, yeah.
Well, the minions didn't eat me, and all is well for another couple weeks, at least. Anyone who wishes may guess the movie reference in the moose paragraph, except for Mya, who has an unfair advantage. I'm going to go read, because I'm a little more likely to nod off doing that than using the computer. Maybe I should just go put in another old movie that I want to see, and then I'll fall asleep...
the hedge abides.
