Ok, it's time for this post again. This time, it's like a meme! I've made it all easy, with step-by-step instructions!

1. start a new post.
2. backdate it (your birth date is a good day) such that it is the first entry in your lj.
3. post your current address, phone number, and an emergency contact.
4. lock your post to friends-only.
5. post it!
6. update it as your contact info changes.

Just think of the many uses! When you lose your cell phone, you can recreate your address book easily! When someone wants to send you a surprise present, they can do it without ruining the surprise by asking for your address! When you get mangled in a freak potato-masher accident, your friends will know who to call! When you forget to put your address in a last-minute hanging-out invite, people can find your place! When you're bored at work, you can write a quick postcard and brighten someone's day! All this utility AND MORE!

Spread the damn meme already, people.

And I shouldn't have to tell you that you shouldn't have anyone on your FL with whom you aren't willing to share your contact info.

i just put the building that i work in into my contact info post, so that people can tell if the people who don't want to take midterms are anywhere near me. (today, no, they're on west bank and i'm on east.)
