hedgiewanLast night was for grumping, obviously. It was also for finishing my Mars sweater (pictures forthcoming), which I am wearing right now (over a GSFC t-shirt-- i am such a geek!) and my FFA (Flying Ford Anglia) throw. I am bad at finishing things, so this is exciting. It was also for guessing Golden Globe winners perfectly, with the pleasant exception of Hugh Laurie.
Tonight is for seeing Sirsy play for a bit, and for trying to organize my girl scout meeting. We're going to bake apples, but they take 45 minutes so I'll need to think of something to do while they're in the oven.
Today is for starting a new project, and for running a PCR (selectively amplifies particular genes out of a library of total DNA), this time with the primers diluted correctly... Hopefully some of the RNA->DNA reaction (reverse transcriptase) that I ran on Friday will have worked. It better've...
