I bought these very nice chinos. They are lovely and grey and long enough (thank you jcrew). Too bad the back pockets are only as deep as a credit card is tall. No, not wide, tall. Yeah, they put in two back pockets, but only made them two and a half inches deep.

well, the pockets in women's pants are never ever big enough to put a paperback in. but i'd be consoled if i could at least fit my WALLET in my pocket. or, hey, at least my bus card.

I bought a bunch of nice black pants for work from Target, and just tried them on to make sure they fit. When I wore them the first time I found out the back pockets are just like that, and there are NO front pockets. I have to put my wallet in SIDEWAYS in the back.

Yeah, I totally feel you on this. I pretty much gave up and started carrying a purse after I realized the only girl pants that had sufficient pockets anymore are being sold at Hot Topic for $55.

But it's a really BUTCH purse! Wiv skulls and studs and stuff!
