beastly little swine! how dare you?!

My first day of work went fine, considering the weather. They closed the U down at 2:30, but I stayed until 4:30 and didn't have any trouble getting home. It's nice that, despite the quantities of rather wet snow, it really isn't that cold out, so at least waiting for a bus isn't miserable. I am pretty damn tired, though- maybe I'll be able to sleep through the night. But will I be able to get up in time to take a shower? The eternal dilemma.

Percy has done got hisself filthy dirty again. Showertime for him, too. With baby shampoo, this time, because it's a PITA to get rolled-in dust out of a long-haired cat. Jack is just being a PITA, for no particular reason. Well, he wants food, but he doesn't need it or get it. But he is *so* good at being the worst creature ever until he gets what he wants. Not this time, Rotund-o-Tron!

I managed to both make and eat chili without getting any on my white angora sweater. This just makes me nervous about how much karma I've used up on one dinner.

Now, for the opinion section of today's post: all other things being equal, does anybody have a strong preference for or aversion towards either Medica or Healthpartners? Because those are my two basic insurance options, but I don't have experience with either. They'll both let me go back to my doctor in St. Paul, that I had to leave years ago because they weren't on my Mom's insurance. I may just go with Medica, because they are slightly less expensive, but I'd appreciate input.

the hedge abides.

I dunno. but if you want to earn some karma back, you could let me know when we could hang out sometime. I haven't seen you since my birthday, and that was kind of a blur!

I've... uh.... EXTENSIVELY used Medica. No huge complaints.

Make sure you compare the copays and such.

that's where the "all other things being equal" comes in- they're exactly the same.
